Yeah, me too, I could eat that for days, but then I need a place where to release the winds.

It happen that i got one of these from the fridge of Tesco Finest, went back at home, sliced and eat it... i thought it was similar to salami... but not, it tasted like rusted plastic, then I got a lighter and warmed up, when I saw a bit of smoke coming out, the oil start dripping and a bit of smell on air I had another bite, and it was a bit better.
But not good like the ones I had in Spain, maybe resting in the UK cold they get a bit ... atrophied.

Er, we brought potatoes back from south America after we'd murdered the Aztecs and that...
Galicians couldn't live without spuds... BTW Spuds, onions and chorizo is a great dish...

That's a fried shrimp and fried oyster po-boy with a side of red beans and rice and a side of chicken gumbo. I swapped out half of my sandwich for half of my fried catfish po-boy. AMAZING!!! Although the chicken gumbo had too much filé. My only regret was that I did not have enough space left to eat any crawfish etouffée,
Ron's looks close enough. Hell I even buy Mexican food in London. Can't be bad, can it?

#3 is definitely not Texan. Salad and wine with your steak, surely a mistake.

I much love Spain and its kitchen. Learned quite some nice dishes when I lived on Mallorca. I had an amazing recipe for frito mallorquin. Will share when/if I find it! Oh just thinking of those days and its food makes me crave for porçella rostida....
For me it's all about the tumbet. As for porcella, there's no art to it. Buy suckling pig from the butcher, walk to the bakery, come back in the evening to collect and eat.

Haven't had a go to make it myself but than again it's so cheap to buy ready made and I doubt it that I'd get the same texture or flavours.

Aroogah, get at me re: Cajun foods when you're home! I wanna talk to you about a few things...
Also - Torchys tacos, DEFINITELY tex-mex, not mex (sorry!)!
Chorizo on fire is when you get the best from it
It's also great if you have a farting race.
