I think it's for bikes with giant steerers, 1.5 inches thick.

I know what a Headshock fork is, but can a headshock stem be used on a normal fork`? :S
Sorry if it's a stupid question. -

as nel3on said, its for larger steerer tubes which cannot be used on normal forks. It probably gives you the exact diameter in andy.w's picture.

Cannondale Headshok. Although a Headshok steerer is very close to 1.5 in it is actually 1.5625 in. The Headtube dimensions for 1.5" and Headshok are very similar, differing only in the minimum press depth.

No. it won't fit.
There must be other shitty looking stems available?

If you want a well priced stem which is availible in lot of angles. On-one is what you want. I have three of them. Great for messing around with set-ups.
Mostly sold out at the mo though :(
They do both over-sized and 25.4 clamps.

Hi
I was wondering, how come a headshock stem can only be used with special forks?
I'm looking at this stem http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=17332 , and really like the angle and price of it, so can i put it on my regulare 1 1/8 fork?
Thanks!
